Having swept to victory in the South East regional final in May, owner of The Lounge Hair Salon Brentwood Michelle scooped the 2008 Nation's Favourite Hairdresser after beating off the UK's best hairdressers at the Wella Studio in London. The nationwide competition assesses not only hairdressers' technical abilities but also the strength of the relationships with their clients. Michelle was nominated by longstanding client Charlie. Michelle won a starring role in a Cosmopolitan photo shoot, a substantial cash prize and a pair of diamond-edged hairdresser's scissors.
